The Forgotten Ones is a 360° Immersive Narrative that delves you into the world of the largest dumpsite in Eastern Africa, told from the perspective of the dumpsite itself. As the dumpsite, you explore a plethora of ideas and thoughts that run through the dumpsite's fictional mind. This piece explores the story of what we call the Forgotten Ones, the ones who don't have a voice and as such fade into the dark. Dandora dumpsite is one of The Forgotten Ones irrespective of its impact on the daily lives of the thriving community in the Dandora area. This 360 immersive video aims to bring The Forgotten Ones voice to Life and will bring the adverse reality of the Dandora dumpsite to policymakers, stakeholders and the general public to change their beliefs, perspectives, realities and policies towards the site.
